About the Event
Our younger sailors will learn water safety, sailing terminology, names and functions of boat parts, and points of sail. Students will learn to rig the boat themselves. Students will experience steering the boat, adjusting sails, and learning to sail both upwind and downwind.
There is nothing like sailing for learning life lessons. To learn to sail teaches both teamwork and independence, engineering and physics, history, and the power of the wind. Students will experience the amazing adventure that sailing can give.
